ABOUT GERAINT BARTIE
Geraint has over ten years of experience in the Rail industry having begun his journey as a Train Presentation Operative, before training as a Dual Skilled Apprentice, followed by time served as a Skilled Train Maintainer, he then became an Engineering Depot Supervisor before progressing to project work helping to deliver Plan Led Approach to Northern, since December 2022 he has been the Class 331 (Technical Services Spares Supply Agreement) Contract Performance Manager. In 2024 he was shortlisted to the final 8 for the 2025 Rail Buisness Awards in the Young Professional category.Alongside this career he joined the Army Reserve and is now an active Commissioned Officer in The Queen\'s Own Yeomanry.As a passionate believer in the value of Veterans in Rail he founded Northern\'s Armed Forces Community and leads Northern\'s Armed Covenant
