About Greg Pittman
Born and raised in the South, I grew-up in small-town America. After playing baseball since I could walk, my ball seasons ended when doctors at Duke Children’s Hospital discovered a large brain tumor growing in the center of my head. What seemed a hopeless and potentially “last days” situation turned out to be a landmark for the rest of my life. Although brain tumors and brain surgery are scary and leave both physical and emotional scars, I came out with a new take on life and an intense sense of urgency. I received my Bachelor\'s Degree in Media, Culture, and the Arts from The King\'s College in New York City. During my time at King’s, I founded and inspired numerous campus and city initiatives, multiple of which are still in place today. I am an entrepreneur, a creative, and an ultra-connector. I’ve founded two non-profit organizations and spearheaded various projects and charitable initiatives. In 2015, I was awarded a Fellowship at the Trinity Fellows Academy in Maryland. I’ve had the honor of serving on various executive committees, speaking publicly, and collaborating with entrepreneurs and creatives across the country. I also serve as a consultant to and collaborator with various mastermind groups and cohorts. Some of my clients include global spirits brands, a national energy corporation, a national athletic care and apparel company, a national non-profit and foundation, and various startups and non-profits In 2015, I founded the New Canaan Society Atlanta Chapter and a social good coffee brand called Cause Roast. I joined Spartan Branding as the Brand Strategist in 2019. In 2021 I co-founded an angel investors cohort in the Piedmont Triad Area called Social Capital Ventures where I serve as the Managing Director. I also had the pleasure of serving as the Publisher & Content Manager at Faith Driven Entrepreneur. Most recently, I have joined the Baldwin Properties team as the Marketing Director.I am passionate about inspiring and equipping rising faith-driven creatives and entrepreneurs to live intentionally and fulfill their calling to create. I care deeply about the intersection of faith and work and helping others integrate the two. I am a human catalyst for creativity and entrepreneurship. I have a heart for Africa and love traveling, cigars, art, reading, bourbon/scotch, craft beer, coffee, and helping people and organizations tell their story.
