As a Senior Associate in the M&A Team, I lead the analysis and acquisitions of primary care practices to support the expansion of a value-based care platform focused on Medicare and Medicare Advantage populations. I partner with executive leadership, clinical operators, and private equity sponsors to drive inorganic growth, and enhance long-term enterprise value.Key Responsibilities- Analyze and execute potential acquisitions of primary care platforms, multi-specialty physician groups and single practices to align with value-based care models- Build detailed financial models to evaluate deal economics and risk-adjusted returns- Produce monthly M&A reporting packages for executive leadership and private equity sponsors, tracking M&A spend, pipeline activity, deal progress, and growth KPIs- Leverage external data sources (e.g, CMS datasets, actuarial data, demographic and utilization trends) to evaluate new markets and prioritize acquisition targets- Be the point of contact for analysis in new expansion markets- Develop investment committee materials articulating strategic rationale, market positioning, and value creation levers- Coordinate the creation of legal documents, from proposals and Indications of Interest (IOIs) to Letters of Intent (LOIs) and definitive agreements.
