I built systems that organizations depend on, aligning technology decisions with business objectives, and leading teams through change.Early advice from my father guided my career choice:\"You can be good at technology, but you need to understand the economics and how value is created to put your skills to good use.\" It is why I pursued both a PhD in IT and an MBA. It is why my most satisfying work has always been systems that make organizations run better.Some of what that has looked like in practice- Built a CRM and billing system for a utility startup from scratch. It enabled the company to grow from two co-founders to two locations and ten employees. It ran for over ten years- Championed ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification at an international SaaS company to meet enterprise procurement requirements. Helped close contracts with Fortune 100 clients- Designed a backup and disaster recovery architecture that has run daily for over 15 years- Co-founded a technology standards organization under the Linux Foundation that grew to 300+ contributors across industry and academia. I led through influence- As director at Bitergia, influenced technology decisions: CRM selection and migration, workflow automation, compliance, and product architecture. Grew revenue 100% over three years.I design for resilience. At home, I invested in a micro-grid-forming solar system with battery backup and gas generator. It reflects how I think professionally: design for when things go wrong.Target industries: utilities, healthcare, agriculture.
