ABOUT GEORGIOS PETRIDIS
I am a commercially astute and strategically minded RICS Registered Candidate currently completing an MSc in Quantity Surveying through the Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship pathway. With APC preparation underway, I bring a unique blend of technical, operational, and client-facing experience across the utilities and built environment sectors. My current role as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor sees me leading the commercial management of supplier portfolios under SoR-based contracts, advising stakeholders on contractual risks, and supporting senior leadership with financial reporting and strategic planning. I manage monthly Applications for Payment, assist in dispute resolution and claims, and ensure financial integrity through SAP and Salesforce.Prior to this, I built a robust foundation in customer assurance, technical support, and works coordination, developing a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to service excellence, and a deep understanding of operational risk. These experiences have shaped my approach to quantity surveying: legally informed, commercially focused, and always aligned with professional standards.I am passionate about continuous improvement, ethical practice, and delivering value through clear communication and defensible decision-making. As I progress toward chartership, I remain committed to contributing meaningfully to the built environment through agile thinking, stakeholder care, and rigorous commercial insight.
