ABOUT GEORGINA G PENFOLD

Initially trained in environmental due diligence and carbon management, I\'ve held senior and executive posts in compliance, procurement, cleantech, government relations and corporate commercial strategy. I love to get involved in community and am a big believer in accessibility and inclusion. For five years, I co-managed the disabled access gate at Glastonbury Festival and on a more modest scale, have supported local initiatives including The Real Junk Food Project and Leeds Unity Day. This rather unique blend of experience means I\'m able to see across the whole ESG landscape and help people with environmental and social purpose, whilst making sure you tick all those governance boxes. I\'ve proven my business credentials with an Executive MBA from INSEAD but rather than seeking out institutional stamps of approval, my greatest joy comes from making people laugh, think, then buy (in that order). I\'m not your typical corporate. I hate a hard sell, but I love to build a lasting working relationship.Alongside my day to day work, I am the writer and curator of The Good Business Blog (link in my headline bio), an Advisor at Loyal VC (Venture Capital investors) and a Non-Executive Director of BSRIA.
