I provide legal guidance and policy recommendations on issues affecting asylum-seekers in Canada and lead UNHCR Canada\'s efforts to support asylum system capacity development across the Americas. My work focuses on issues related to the Canadian asylum system, including strategic litigation and judicial engagement, access to legal aid, and statelessness. I lead our office\'s strategic litigation, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and liaise with Canadian government counterparts to advance refugee protection. I also engage directly with asylum-seekers, refugees, and their counsel on a wide range of legal and protection issues.
