ABOUT GEORGINA PIERSON

I work at the intersection of systems, strategy and storytelling - shaping how institutions operate and how narratives move through the world.Through Aurora Consulting, I advise organisations at moments of transition: when something that once worked no longer does, and the next step is not yet clear.Through Weak Interference Ltd, I develop narrative-led film and media projects exploring influence, culture and the stories that shape how we see the world. Together, they reflect the same core interest through two lenses: systems and story.I’ve spent 25 years building and leading work across media, technology and public-interest ventures, often in complex or contested environments. Most recently, as Business Growth Director at Times Media, I led The Times Literary Supplement and Times Money Mentor with full P&L responsibility, driving growth through digital innovation, audience strategy and organisational change.Earlier in my career, I held founding and C-suite roles in start-ups and scale-ups, raising investment, building teams and bringing new products to market, alongside work with public and third-sector organisations. My focus now is on how systems, incentives and narrative interact - and how stories shape behaviour, institutions and public life, from politics and media to culture and identity.I’m currently Executive Producing a cultural video series in partnership with TellTale and working with institutions through ALVA, alongside developing original work as a writer, including an Arthur C. Clarke Award-recognised short.I’m interested in the space between critique and construction - understanding what’s broken, and helping build what comes next.
