Proactive Law - working strategically to work through a problem to a solution or possible alternative solutions with the least cost and the best outcome to get the business or the family back on track. I educate to empower my clients to make sound decisions and take action. I have worked with Closely Held Business Owners to protect their businesses and their personal assets. Part of this work is to review their Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet against their goals and concerns, and to help them understand where they are at and where they need to go to reach the goals they set. The goal is to grow and sell the business, or to get the most out of it that an Owner wants. How you strategically plan and protect is based on what the Owner\'s goals are and the decisions they make. Documentation is key. I work with the Owner to review contracts, advise them on keeping a file (evidence), tax planning and projecting, gathering Due Diligence information so they are always ready to entertain an opportunity or work toward the goal of building their company to sell it. It is about documentation and results. This same philosophy is in my other areas of service: Tax Controversies, Tax Planning, Estate Planning (simple and complex), Probate and real estate.Partnering with my client to reach their goals, protect their business, themselves and their families and those that work for them. I have practiced in the Summit and Portage County Probate Court for over 25 years.

I have spent over 25 years working with small business owners and individuals in being proactive to protect their assets, their businesses and their families. My areas of practice are in Estate Planning, Business Planning and contracts, Probate Litigation, purchase and sale of businesses and counseling my clients when things go wrong. Through planning, contracts and review of facts, I assist them to better communicate and goal plan. Clients work through issues, make major changes, and meet goals My goal is to TEAM up with my clients. By working and helping them review their current situation, discover their obstacles and put a plan in place from the beginning, they are better able to work with employees, vendors, and customers, This constant review also gets them ready for due diligence when they are ready to sell or pass on their business. The goal is to help them make educated decisions that match their goals, protect them now and in the future, and put them in the best position to succeed. It is important to review facts and circumstances, their goals and concerns, and determine how the law will be applied. Maistros Legal Services Inc.also represents individuals in putting Estate Planning together that will work whether they need long term care and upon their death. This includes helping entrepreneurs with business succession planning. The goal is to keep them out of the court room or at the least put the evidence in place to make their cases shorter and to be able to settle their cases without the full cost of going through trial.
