ABOUT GEORGIA WILLIAMS
I’m a lawyer in the pro bono team at Linklaters, where I lead key pro bono projects across our UK and global offices, undertake substantive casework, and work as part of a central team to manage the global practice which delivers pro bono hours a year. Before moving into pro bono management, I worked at Herbert Smith Freehills in Brisbane and Seoul as a litigator. My pro bono and community work at HSF focussed on asylum seekers and First Australians, and included a secondment to Binarri-binyja yarrawoo Aboriginal Corporation. I was also Associate to a Justice of the Supreme Court of Queensland.Before that I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2015 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) placed first in my class. I also hold a Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) from the University of Oxford.
