As a clinical intern at Kiwi Recovery, a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) mental health program for adolescents and young adults, I support the therapeutic process through a range of hands-on responsibilities. I facilitate group therapy sessions, maintain detailed electronic health records, and work directly with clients to provide consistent emotional support and reinforce treatment goals. This experience has deepened my understanding of evidence-based mental health care and strengthened my ability to connect meaningfully with young individuals navigating complex emotional challenges.
