As a customer service representative at R and D Optical, I was responsible for ensuring that our clients had a positive experience throughout the entire customer journey. I gained extensive knowledge of the optical industry, including different types of eye lenses and the various machines used to manufacture them. I also learned how to operate the machines in the lab and our computer system, which enabled me to provide accurate and efficient support to our clients.Additionally, I implemented a training program in the company, which helped new employees to get up to speed quickly and effectively. I also took optical courses to deepen my understanding of the industry and keep up-to-date with new developments and trends.Through my work at R and D Optical, I developed strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong ability to work in a team environment. I learned how to effectively manage multiple priorities, and how to provide exceptional customer service even in high-pressure situations.Overall, my experience in customer service at R and D Optical taught me the importance of developing a deep understanding of the industry and the products we were providing. It also taught me how to be proactive in my professional development and to take ownership of my learning and training to better serve our clients.
