About George X
With over two decades of experience in broadcasting, I’m proud to be one of the leading voices in action and combat sports for the Hispanic TV audience. As a commentator, I’ve called over professional fights for top organizations, including Bellator MMA, Combate Americas, and the Professional Fighters League (PFL), where I currently serve as the Spanish play-by-play announcer.For nearly a decade, starting in 2004, I was the Spanish voice of the X Games, covering multiple editions in Aspen, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. I’ve had the privilege of interviewing legends like Tony Hawk, Dave Mirra, and Travis Pastrana. Most recently, I reconnected with the event, hosting and producing a Spanish replay for X Games Chiba, combining my skills as both an on-air talent and producer.As an action/adventure correspondent for Televisa Sports, I covered global events like the Super Bowl and the Olympics, creating headlines at Super Bowl when I showed up to media day dressed as a football player. My adventurous assignments took me bungee jumping meters off Victoria Falls in Zambia and running with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain.I’ve also hosted award-winning and fan-favorite shows like El Reto Final Nissan on Fox Sports, a travel reality series where I reunited legendary soccer teams for rematches, as well as Gana La Verde for Estrella TV, a Fear-Factor-like action competition show. Additionally, I hosted Reto Burundis, a national game show for kids, on Televisa.Years later, I brought my experience to BrinxTV, where I hosted The George X Show and interviewed top-tier guests from the worlds of action sports, combat, and sports media.Throughout my career, I’ve focused on bringing Spanish-speaking fans closer to the action, offering something different from what they typically see on Spanish television. Whether it’s showcasing the incredible feats of action sports athletes, professional fighters, or daredevils, my mission has always been to capture the adrenaline, highlight the extraordinary, and celebrate the stories that inspire and connect audiences around the world.
