Civil Engineer - Stantec - Denver, COSupervising engineer (and Project Technical Lead) for utility/infrastructure/conveyance design projects from proposal through construction phase; I have been personally responsible for the planning, management, and detailed design of 500+ miles of pipelines (potable water, reuse/reclaimed water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer). In my role as the Project Technical Lead I am responsible for budgeting, resourcing, and execution of Civil engineering projects. Ultimately, as the Project Technical Lead (PTL), I am responsible for the technical quality of all client deliverables. I self-perform and manage the production of AutoCad Civil 3D plan and profile pipeline design construction drawings and the related specifications, calculations, and coordination of related disciplines. As the engineer of record for utility infrastructure designs, I am responsible for bidding services and engineering support during construction (RFI response, submittal review/approval, conflict resolution during construction). As an internally approved technical Civil specialist, I am responsible for the cold-eye review of a wide range of project types. I provide technical review and work with the entire engineering design team to ensure that technical and quality standards are met. As the Discipline Delivery Lead for the State Civil Delivery Group, I am responsible for the distribution of workload, resourcing, mentorship, and training for a team of 70+ Stantec Civil Engineers across the US.
