George is one of four Senior Business Counselors at the Mason Small Business Development Center and providing business counseling and mentoring for Virginia entrepreneurs and small business owners. George is a subject matter expert often asked to speak at community outreach events related to early stage startups. On behalf of George Mason University\'s Small Business Development Center, he has facilitated client workshops throughout Northern Virginia on a variety of subjects including Lean Principles, Strategic Pricing and Business Pitch Deck development. He has been an speaker for 1 Million Cups organization and a guest instructor in support of the Small Business University Executive Certificate Program (non-credit) hosted by George Mason University in conjunction with the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority. Affiliated with George Mason University, the Mason SBDC team in which he is an active member, provides over 100 hours of monthly one-on-one counseling services to small businesses in Fairfax, Arlington, and Prince William Counties at no cost to our clients thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Mason SBDC is funded through a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Virginia SBDC Network and George Mason University - Mason Enterprise Center.
