George is a nationally recognized expert on the design and implementation of insured income protection strategies. He has been a frequent speaker at regional and national trade meetings and has authored articles and been referenced in magazines such as Broker World and National Underwriter. George has previously presented at the International Million Dollar Round Table, LIMRA DI & LTC Insurers’ Forum, the JHA Dynamics of Disability Strategic Management Seminar, the SFSP National Forum, and multiple AHIA National Edu-Calls. He has also served as the Meeting Chair for the International DI Society conference. George is the founder of the Twin Cities DI Day a leading “grass roots” conference which has sparked similar conferences around the nation.George is a founding partner of the only national organization of independent disability and long-term care brokerage specialists, The Plus Group. He is also a founding member of International Disability Insurance Society and the 2013 recipient of their WH Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award. George is a member of numerous trade organizations including the Society of Financial Services Professionals, having served the Minneapolis/St. Paul chapter as President.
