In this role I manage the Engineering and IT team that develops and support TIG Freight Managements enterprise applications. The development team is comprised of Business Analysts, UX, Development leads, Senior Developers and Testers both on and offshore. We maintain Openfreight and Open360 systems, which enable our customers to send freight with over 100 carrier partners in Australia and New Zealand. Openfreight is a cloud based system with the following tech stack: PHP, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript and hosted on AWS. Open360 is the next generation Freight Management system is a cloud SAAS application based on the following tech stack: Typesript, Nest js, React, GCP.
