Processing bi-weekly payroll for over 500 unionized & nonunionized salaried and hourly employees in 4 locations in BC & AB using Payworks & Comvida-Maintaining proper documentation of payroll forms for new hires, employment letters, terminations forms -Issuing ROEs and any other Government mandated forms on time with accurate working paper and calculating final wages and severance payments-Verifying payroll payments in accordance with employee contracts and payroll amendments forms, and compliance with provincial legislations, internal policies and union agreements-Preparing year-end slips, and pensions statements along with supporting documentation-Checking and auditing payroll for accuracy and dealing with payroll related issues as they arise in a timely manner and suppling payroll related information to external and internal stakeholders as required -Administering medical and health benefits for new hires, changes, adjustments, and terminations through Effortless Admin benefits provider
