Working within a lean pharmaceutical manufacturing environment to a PQS standard in Quality Control as a QC Scientist supporting both the Microbiology Dept and Analytical Chemistry Dept.\\\\n\\\\n🧫 Microbiology Experience 🧫\\\\n• Reading, understanding, following and writing SOPs\\\\n• Bioburden testing of water samples and product.\\\\n• Endotoxin testing.\\\\n• Environmental monitoring (Active air, settle plate, contact plate and non-viable particles).\\\\n• Incubating, reading and streaking plates.\\\\n• Raising, investigating, writing and concluding MLEs (Microbial Limit Excursions).\\\\n\\\\n🧪 Analytical Chemistry Experience 🧪\\\\n• Analytical testing of water samples (TOC, conductivity, nitrates etc.)\\\\n• Component testing\\\\n• Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)\\\\n• Gas pressure, density and half separation time testing, physical measurements, Artwork QC.\\\\n• Data analysis, trending, capability of variable data, minitab, excel, data cleaning.\\\\n• Leading the team on coordinating QMS actions and representing the QC Dept at QMS steering meetings.\\\\n• Dept EHS rep\\\\n• Gas chromatography\\\\n• High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)\\\\n\\\\n Process improvement \\\\nUtilising Lean and Six Sigma principles within agile teams, I have been involved in process improvement throughout my time at Boston. Using the 5Ws to lead Root Cause investigations, improving organisation and work flow using Kanban Boards. Implementing Kanban stock management in Microbiology. Leading our Daily Visual factories weekly in Analytical Chemistry.\\\\n\\\\n Recent Value Added \\\\nMy experience has been leveraged to take responsibility for overhauling many vital logbooks to improve efficiency and accuracy. My data analysis skills, attention to detail and swift IT skills were used to set new alert limits based on an analysis of the previous years data.
