Joined Colombian Air Force in 1965, attended two years of school and graduated as an Airplanes Mechanic, attended and graduated as a Jet engines mechanic after 6 months specialization at the Latin America School in Albrook Air Force Base, Canal Zone Panama 19••••72 Was commissioned to the Helicopters Team supporting the Army on the Guerrilla fight accumulating a total of 1,800 flight Hrs on Bell Huey 204/205, got a commendation medal from the President for supporting anti-Guerrilla fight, was named as Presidential Helicopter Crew Member for President Misael Pastrana Borrero and Carlos Lleras. 19••••80 Moved to US. Got A&P License, Worked on several Aviation Companies such as Sunny South Fort Laud. Cessna Dealer in Fl, mechanic and Sales support for Latin America. Beckett Aviation night crew foreman also supporting sales in South America with DOM. 19••••10 Hired as Field Service Engineer for Garret Turbine Engine Company deployed to Argentina and Chile between 19••••98 supporting all Garret propulsion products/Alliedsignal/Honeywell, supported several special programs such as Argentine Trainer Pampa IA-63, Re-engine of Pucara from Turbomeca to Garrett TPE331-11. In Chile supported the Fabrication of the Casa 101 CC with Honeywell Engine TFE731-5C-1J. At same time was responsible for the field support of all propulsion products thru South America. In 1998 returned to US and was deployed to Bogota Colombia with office in Avianca Engineering in charge of SAM RJ100 Fleet with ALF 507 engines and Avianca fleet with Honeywell APU/Landing Gear and Brakes. 20••••10: Based in Atl Ga Supported Honeywell propulsion and landing Gear/Brakes for several Caribbean Airlines plus all General Aviation propulsion products in North South America, Central America/Mexico, Ga, Al, Tn, SC, NC, MS, South Florida. 20••••19, RSM for StandardAero for South America and the Caribbean. Increased sales from 5M to 20/25 Millions. Awarded top sales in 2011/2013/2015/2017. Left Standardaero September 2019 10/2019 Actual, Joined TAE AEROSPACE TPE331/PT6 MRO as Latin American Sales Manager, responsible for growing the sales in the area. Tae Aerospace is the biggest TPE331 Honeywell Authorized Service Center in the world and on the PT6 Market TAE is recognized Internationally as one the best options for Quality, support and price for those customers not working with the OEM, TAE holds FAA and European Certifications.
