ABOUT GEORGE THEODOSSOPOULOS
My name is George and I am a Finance Transformation consultant. At EY, we partner with large organizations to redesign core processes across A/R&A/P, settlement, consolidation, and reporting, while strengthening FP & A capabilities and the operating models behind global shared services. My work also spans ERP-enabled finance (from journal entries and controls to the data structures that drive integrity), and the enablement of leading technologies to automate reconciliation and accelerate close.My ability to provide these services has come from my education at the University of Calgary, where I received a Bachelors degree in Commerce and a Major in Finance. I was able to obtain significant professional experience through my time working as a student at both Cenovus Energy, as well as my time at Scotiabank. Both of these roles provided me with a strong foundation to provide consistent, tailored results to clients in my work with EY.As a UCalgary Alumni, I am always ready to provide guidance or support to future professionals finding their way into their careers, and am happy to connect and chat to provide whatever advice I can to assist those in their journeys.
