ABOUT GEORGE

I am a third-year law student at Ramaiah College of Law, Bengaluru, with a focused interest in corporate and commercial law. I aspire to build a practice in General Corporate advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Joint Ventures, and Insolvency & Bankruptcy. My legal journey has been shaped by both advocacy and analytical training. I was ranked Best Speaker at the Intra-College Moot Court Competition at Ramaiah College of Law, an experience that strengthened my structured thinking, articulation, and persuasive reasoning.I completed an internship at B. Raman Pillai & Associates, one of the largest and reputed criminal law firms in South India, where I was exposed to high-profile criminal matters. I assisted in legal research, statutory interpretation, and precedent analysis, which helped me understand the procedural rigour and strategic depth of litigation.Leaning towards my long-term interest in corporate law, I am currently interning at Menon & Pai, Advocates, where I am gaining exposure to commercial documentation, compliance frameworks, and corporate advisory work. This transition has reinforced my interest in understanding how legal structuring, risk allocation, and regulatory precision shape business outcomes.I am particularly interested in how transactional documentation and regulatory frameworks interact within evolving commercial ecosystems. My goal is to develop into a corporate practitioner who combines doctrinal clarity, drafting precision, and commercial awareness.
