About George Rogers

I am so excited to be working at Graduate Eugene. This outstanding convention hotel in the heart of Eugene has been a jewel of this community for many years. What a great way to return home to Eugene. Prior to this opportunity, my career has been mostly in the hospitality industry. I started as a bellman and worked my way to a Director of Front Office. From there I was promoted to a Director of Sales and Marketing and then a Regional Director of Sales for the west coast. I then moved to General Manager at the Doubletree Eugene/ Springfield, Doubletree by Hilton in Bend, Oregon. I then had the pleasure of working for One Peak Medical before spending a great year at Ashland Hills Inn.Specialties: I have worked with Union negotiations at the Doubletree Berkeley Marina. Rebranded a Hotel from Red Lion to Doubletree. Worked on purchase and opening of Cerulean Hotel. Rebranding it to independent hotel after purchase.
