ABOUT GEORGE RAINBOW
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of York, where I also serve as the CFO of the Griff Investment Fund—the UK’s first real-money, student-led investment fund. My responsibilities include running the fund’s capital raise, managing the relationship with the university, and guiding the fund toward our goal of becoming an internationally recognized educator and a highly proficient investor. My academic background includes A-levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics, along with the completion of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, where I built leadership and teamwork skills by volunteering at a charity shop and coaching a youth rugby team. I have also completed work experience with RBC Brewin Dolphin and Tier One Capital, gaining valuable insights into asset management and wealth management practices. Moving forward, I am eager to further my expertise within the finance and investment sectors.
