Design, manage and lead civil infrastructure projects starting from feasibility studies and up to construction stage in a various range of domains, such as housing developments up to 500 dwellings, industrial units, extensions, etc. Range of skills include roads design, drainage design, water main design, earthworks, vehicle swept path analysis, detailed levels design and others.• Obtaining Local Authorities Technical Approvals, including Planning Permission, Road Construction Consent, Section 56 Applications, Road Opening Permit works.• Obtaining Scottish Water Technical Approvals for Water and Wastewater Infrastructure and liaising with Business Stream for commercial developments.• Obtaining SEPA Technical Approvals in line with SEPA WAT-RM-03 and WAT-RM-04 such as CAR Licenses.• Preparing technical reports and documents, such as Drainage Impact Assessments, Flood Risk Assessments, Site Investigation Reports, Street Engineering Review & Quality Audit, UK Water Industry Research Reports.• Producing road and drainage designs compliant with statutory regulations, such as the ‘National Road Development Guide’, Local Authorities guidelines, DMRB, Sewers for Scotland 4, CIRIA C753 SuDS Manual.• Mentoring, managing, supporting and overseeing technicians and other engineers within the Civils Team.• Supporting the team with project delivery and preparing fee proposals, managing budgets and deliverables throughout the project life and producing invoices.• Preparing bespoke standard detail drawings and innovative design for various problems.• WIRS Accredited Water Main design up to construction stage.• Highly experienced with 1D/2D Flood Modelling and Hydrology assessments using various industry standard software packaged.• Confident liaising with SEPA and Local Authorities for a range of flood risk management projects including housing developments, extensions, in-river structures management, flood plain restoration and compensatory storage.
