The NZLA is committed to helping lawyers, law firms and the law accelerate the transition to net zero. This includes:(1) reducing operational emissions by at least 50% by 2030;(2) contributing pro bono time to projects to achieve climate objectives;(3) building capacity among lawyers; and (4) providing net zero aligned advice. I am proud to be Slaughter and May\'s representative to the NZLA and to lead on climate change-related capacity building and promoting net zero-aligned advice in line with the NZLA commitment.
