Double-board certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. George Moynihan, is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. As the founding member and medical director of Gold Coast Plastic Surgery in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Moynihan is a specialist in face, neck, nose, eye, and scalp surgery. He completed six years of surgical training, which focused on treatment of the head and neck, and included completion of a prestigious one-year fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Moynihan is currently a clinical assistant professor at Loyola University Medical Center and Rush University Medical Center.

Following medical school, Dr. Moynihan completed six additional years of surgical training which focused exclusively on the head and neck. The first five years concentrated on the study of head and neck disease in the otolaryngology department at Loyola University Medical Center. He was then selected to complete a highly competitive American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship, in Birmingham, Alabama under Daniel E. Rousso MD. Dr. Moynihan is currently a clinical assistant professor at Loyola University Medical Center, as well as, Rush University Medical Center.
