ABOUT GEORGE MORRISON

I joined Lime on the eve of hyper-growth (~5M global trips) as employee #2 for Asia Pacific and helped lead expansion into Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. Alongside a fantastic team, we’ve gone from launching a MVP to strong unit economics, operating standardisation, and ultimately achieving a full year of EBITDA profitability for 2022 - all while partnering with governments to legalise EV sharing programs globally and empowering +400M trips. I\'m currently supporting our senior leadership team on special projects across global operations, corporate strategy, and business development. Prior to this, I led strategy and planning initiatives across Lime’s Western Europe, Nordics, Asia, and Latin America businesses and partnered with global and local leadership to design and implement data-driven strategies, champion effective growth investments, and enable organisational effectiveness. In addition to operating (ofo, Lime), I\'m also passionate about investing in mission-aligned early stage companies (Ergatta, Yumi Organic Baby Food, Olio, Bestever, Fable) and am a scout for Startmate\'s Small Bets Fund - a community-led fund, designed with diversity at its core, to invest in ambitious ANZ-based founders as early as possible.
