I am an Associate Lawyer at Hummingbird Lawyers LLP, where I practice family and divorce law across our Toronto and Vaughan offices.Family law sits at the intersection of law and life; the matters I work on affect people during some of the most challenging chapters of their lives. Whether a client is navigating separation, divorce, child custody and access, spousal or child support, equalization of net family property, or mobility issues, my goal is the same: to help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and a fair outcome.At Hummingbird, we approach family law collaboratively, minimizing conflict and working toward practical, personalized solutions. I am drawn to this philosophy because I believe the best results for families, especially those involving children, come from resolving matters thoughtfully rather than adversarially.My academic foundation reflects the same commitment to excellence I bring to every file. I graduated from the University of Kent with an LL.B. with First Class Honours, finishing in the top 10% of my class. Prior to law school, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Criminology with a Minor in Law at the University of Ottawa, a background that informs how I understand people, conflict, and the systems designed to resolve it.The most enduring lesson from my legal journey is one I return to often: none of us is as smart as all of us.
