I am an experienced program manager and content specialist with over 25 years in the computer software and journalism industries. I specialize in the intersection of technology and online content, helping the two disciplines work effectively. Most recently I\'ve served as an editorial liaison with engineering teams to develop content management systems for Microsoft products and greater automation. I\'m interested in helping organizations and teams merge AI and human work. I\'m tracking how humans must oversee and influence artificial intelligence; how online journalism is evolving; and how technology can impact and aid the non-profit world. My career has evolved from newspaper journalism to online storytelling to content management and strategy. I helped build msnbc.com from the ground up, developing the best practices that made it the No. 1 site for news. As the sports editor, I led the merger of msnbc.com and NBCSports.com into one site. At Microsoft, I helped build the editorial team for the Windows 8 apps, then served as an editorial lead for MSN\'s transition to a partner-based business plan.
