As a researcher in the Glover Lab, I investigated the native structure of stabilizing protein oleosin through biochemical methods such as mutanagenesis, bacterial transformations, and protein purification. This work strengthened my skills in data analysis and protocol development. I learned how to design and execute experiments independently while collaborating effectively with lab PI and PhD candidates. Overall, this experience helped me apply concepts from my coursework in a biochemistry laboratory setting and reinforced my interest in precise, hands-on scientific work.
