I am a Mechanical engineer with an emphasis in robotics and controls. As a versatile mechanical engineer, I am able to morph into and/or collaborate with many positions/disciplines. My ultimate passion is to return abilities to people with disabilities or to prevent unfortunate accidents that can cause those disabilities. I am most interested in:(1) human augmenting devices-for example, exoskeletons, assistive devices for people with special needs, and wearables that enhance life quality all fall in this category,(2) any technology that enhances human safety/saves lives-for example, medical robots, more reliable autonomous vehicles, and rescue robots all fall in this category.(3) consumer electronics that bring productivity and joy (mostly joy). I mainly look for research and new product development oriented opportunities that are related to mechatronics. I enjoy diving into the most challenging technical parts myself, as well as coordinating and integrating a teams\' effort to deliver a successful product. I enjoy writing/debugging code, building circuits, designing mechanical parts, and being hands-on in general, as well as performing analysis and deriving equations.
