About George-Howard Miller
A published history and medieval studies student passionate about the exploration of history, linguistics, religion, paleography, and archaeology of different areas of the medieval world, including Eastern Europe, North and East Africa. An active member of the Bates College community, engaging in multiple clubs, including the Bates Historical Society, Disc Golf Club, and Classics Club, where passions for event planning meet special interests. In addition to the engagement of special interest clubs, I\'ve played an integral role in the First Year Student experience at Bates, serving as a Junior Advisor with Bates College ResLife. I support the development of classical/medieval studies students\' linguistics skills by tutoring Ancient Attic Greek. In addition to my experiences at Bates, I served as a passionate member of the Camp O-AT-KA community. At various points, I served as the Head of Pottery, Head of the Arts, and Assistant Program Director. Recently published self-driven research on the Influences of King Ezana\'s Conversion in the fourth century CE.
