Within the past 15+ years as a Director of Merchandising, I have gained invaluable experience in the luxury goods sector developing customer focused campaigns and managing multiple sales channels. This expertise has allowed me to successfully achieve financial goals leveraging extensive brand awareness and market intelligence that enable quick and accurate assessment of market conditions.A few of the achievements I have accomplished include: Attained $600M in revenue growth for the fine jewelry division at Walmart Bentonville by initiating and leading product development – including implementing effective pricing strategies - over 2 years. Achieved $85M in sales by working closely with the operations and sales teams at Starboard Cruises, while collaborating with 5 cruise lines as the fine jewelry buyer for 60 jewelry stores on cruise ships. Assigned fine jewelry categories for all divisions responsible for sourcing spends of $250M in COGS at Zale, in addition to delivering weekly KPI status reports and presentations on supplier product delivery. Created vendor matrices and vendor scorecards to measure KPIs, including costing reviews, purchase order delivery performance, quality compliance reviews and production capacity reporting. Realized $350M in retail sales of gemstones and gold – accounting for 35% of total fine jewelry sales – at Walmart Bentonville.
