WORK HISTORY
Founder, Chairman @Bye Aerospace, Inc
Entrepreneur and pioneer. Aerospace engineering and conceptual aircraft design with electric propulsion. Aircraft development projects include electric \"eFlyer\" family of aircraft, with 2-seat trainer FAA certification program starting in early 2018 (under the new 14 CFR FAR Part 23 amendment 64), and later the eFlyer 4-seat advanced trainer and air-taxi versions, and advanced solar and battery research aircraft. See: Previously we tested and flew a single-seat all-electric prototype. Starting in 2010 we also conceived, engineered and converted a Cessna 172 to electric propulsion. We worked at Boeing in St. Louis as a contractor for 2 years in the advanced jet training \"TX\" conceptual design program,(Boeing was successful in winning the USAF T-7A advanced jet trainer contract), and supported Lockheed Martin as a contractor providing advanced design reviews. Earlier I provided engineering design and business development for the solar-electric \"Silent Falcon\" UAV program.
