Support System Owners, ISSO in preparing Certification and Accreditation package for the companies IT systems, making sure that management, technical and operational security controls adhere to a formal and well-established security requirement authorized by NIST SP 800-53 R4 (NIST SP 800-53 R5). Execute IT control risk assessments; including reviewing organizational policies, standards and procedures. Install software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs to protect highly sensitive information. Conduct data analysis of incident and threat response; develop and implement plans to improve procedures. Track audit findings and recommendations to ensure that appropriate risk mitigation actions are taken. Examine and analyze the right safeguards required to protect information system in a technical operational environment in order to determine the best security posture. Comply with legal compliance requirements throughout the risk management framework.
