About George A. Kalogridis
As a former President of Walt Disney World and Disneyland Parks and Resorts, it has been my privilege to lead over cast members in creating a best-in-class customer experience. My approach to work has always been centered on leading with an operational excellence mindset which inspires a culture of innovation, creativity, and world-class guest satisfaction and delivery. It is was an honor to have been a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort on opening day, giving me just over 50 years of working alongside some of the most talented cast members within our industry, driving legacy and many high-growth projects. My curiosity and desire towards delivering excellence have allowed me to build a strong network and knowledge of different cultures and business practices around the globe. I remain passionate about setting a solid business strategy that is centered on the customer experience and creating a vibrant and dynamic employee experience to deliver world-class customer service. As the President of National Geographic Live businesses and the Disney Institute, I gained an even greater appreciation for entrepreneurial and high-growth businesses by creating new ways to connect with educators, youth, and future explorers. It gave me new insight into the importance of helping more people learn about, care for, and protect our planet, work I hope to continue to support in the years ahead.Through my passion and work for diversity and inclusion, I am honored to have received the Out & Equal Lifetime Achievement Award, which is given to leaders who advance equality for LGBTQ+ people in the global workplace.In the spring of 2022, I announced that I would retire from Disney in 2023 to begin a new adventure. I remain active on purpose-driven boards and provide consulting and speaking engagements on the topics of Leadership, Customer Service Strategy, Diversity and Inclusion, Business Development, and Business Transformation.
