My portfolio includes but is not limited to: the County of Santa Barbara, Energy, Oil/Gas, Women\'s Issues, Childcare Policy, Water, Land Use, Conservation, and Emergency Services-Engage community groups in state-wide policy issues-Review and analyze legislation and provide voting recommendations to Senator -Represent the Senator in-district meetings and events-Draft letters to agencies and officials on behalf of the Senator-Provide on-call disaster response and assist local municipalities with disaster recovery-Supervise and train district staff and provide organizational management to the district office-Supervise interns and manage the senate internship program-Engage community groups in state-wide policy issues-Engage in constituent services regarding California state issues, with the CPUC, CalGEM, Coastal Commission, DMV, Franchise Tax Board, the Secretary of State, and other state bodies.
