Conduct underground face mapping/back mapping to identify lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural features. Ensure mapping and observations contribute to ground control strategies and conduct workplace inspections to identify ground hazards such as faults, slips, or weak rock conditions.• Oversee proper sampling, handling, and dispatch of underground samples to ensure assay quality and chain of custody. Use assay results to confirm and refine ore outlines and guide mining crews.• Monitoring all underground development drives/production areas daily, issuing test holes, accurately marking ore/waste boundaries and providing clear geological instructions to miners, shift supervisors, and jumbo operators for performing effective grade control and to minimize dilution.• Creating, updating and issuing wireframes, 3D orebody and grade control models for long hole drill and blast using DeswikCAD.• Performing month-end grade calculations, stope reconciliation, ore/waste breakdown. Checking/reviewing diamond drillhole intercepts for development prints.• Track ore stockpiles daily by location, tonnage, and grade classification. Issue daily stockpile grade reports for engineering, metallurgy, and operations teams. Monitor ore movements to ensure accurate blending, mill feed, and reconciliation.• Logging definition, conversion and exploration diamond drill core into computerized data handling system as required.• Maintaining and updating database and records pertaining to geology department such as plans, sections, assay reports, muck reports, stockpile reports, down hole surveys, drilling timesheets, and drilling progress daily.• Updating geological interpretations with new drilling and mapping information and assist with the planning of drill programs as needed.•Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in the underground workplace. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to hazard identification and risk assessments.
