ABOUT GEOFFREY KING
I am a partner in the Financial Restructuring group at Paul Hastings and based in the firm’s Chicago office. My practice focuses on on all aspects of complex corporate restructuring, workouts, chapter 11 proceedings, distressed asset acquisitions and bankruptcy-related litigation. My clients have included lenders, equity sponsors, independent directors, special committees, distressed asset purchasers, and corporate debtors on complex in-court and out-of-court restructurings, special situation matters, and distressed transactions.I have significant experience advising clients on a wide array of restructuring-related matters, including distressed acquisitions, post-petition financing, independent investigations, liability management transactions and cross-border restructurings.I am also active in pro bono activities and was recognized for my representation of US military veterans across numerous matters.
