In 2001, Mr. Faux was the founder of Caymus Partners LLC, a merchant banking firm focused on financial advisory and principal investing exclusively in the lower middle market in a variety of industry segments including business services, healthcare services, and consumer and niche manufacturing. In 2009, Mr. Faux was the co-founder of Caymus Equity Partners LLC, which was formed to invest in profitable lower middle market companies with growth potential. Since 2009, Caymus Equity has completed the acquisition of five companies, Phoenix Aromas & Essential Oils, PureRED, Direct Marketing Solutions, FST Technical Services, and Hospitality Staffing Solutions. Mr. Faux is a member of the Board of four of Caymus Equity\'s investments.Prior to founding Caymus Partners, Mr. Faux was a senior executive of Orthodontic Centers of America, Inc, a former New York Stock Exchange company. Prior to OCA, Mr. Faux spent fifteen years with several major investment banking firms, including Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated, Bear Stearns & Co, Inc, and Prudential Securities, Inc, providing merger & acquisition and financing advice exclusively to middle and lower middle market companies. During his investment banking career, Mr. Faux executed over 100 transactions accounting for over $6 billion in transaction value.Mr. Faux previously served on the boards of Orthodontic Centers of America, Coast Dental Services, Inc./ Intelident Solutions, Inc, and Sterling, Inc/AEC.
