WORK HISTORY
Mathematician @Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory
Laurel, MD, US
I develop and evaluate algorithms related to air and missile defense (AMDS) and COVID-19 data quality. Previous accomplishments include- A clutter map algorithm that was incorporated into a radar’s tactical software- A search plan optimization algorithm that has produced several of the currently fielded default operational AN/TPY-2 search plans as well as quick-turn AN/SPY-1 search doctrine to address urgent warfighter needs- An anomaly detection algorithm currently used daily to identify data errors in a nation-wide COVID-19 hospital data set covering hospitals. I am currently investigating algorithms for resource management across heterogeneous networks of sensors, platforms, weapons, managers, and communication resources. I have regularly brief the warfighter, government sponsors, contractors, and my APL colleagues, to provide guidance and recommendations.
