ABOUT GEOFF MESHER

I am Managing Partner of Tempest Forensic Accounting, an independent forensic accounting firm based in Bristol and Wales. Tempest Forensic Accounting is a five partner firm carrying out work nationally and internationally with a focus on the South/South West of England and Wales (including Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Exeter, Southampton, Reading, Oxford, Cheltenham and London). I have produced many expert reports and worked on numerous loss of profit and valuation engagements arising from a wide range of commercial, matrimonial and other disputes. I have also acted as expert in criminal matters relating to fraud. I have given evidence in Court on a number of occasions. My other area of specialism relates to completion accounts, earn-out disputes and warranty claims. I have worked on many such engagements since the mid-1990s; either in the role of expert or part of the expert’s team or assisting one of the parties to the dispute. I have worked on a number of regulatory and mis-selling assignments and investigations in the Financial Services sector. I have experience of competition and regulatory matters having been appointed as a Monitoring Trustee by both the European Commission and the Turkish Competition Board. I have led several fraud investigations, investigating both misappropriation of assets and fraudulent financial reporting for private sector companies and public institutions; carried out Fraud Risk Management work across a number of sectors; and I am the Vice Chairman of the Wales Fraud Forum.
