I focus on all corporate and commercial transactions particularly involving real estate. Mergers and acquisitions, banking law, insolvency, and corporate governance matters. Everything a business does involves contracts, and everything I do involves getting those contracts right whether for the sale or acquisition of a pharmacy, vet practice or a retail business. I live, eat and sleep contracts. I love it. My wife and kids hate me for it. But that is what makes me tick. Contracts are not created equal. A short and simple contract may over-simplify and a long and detailed contract may be overkill. A great contract quite simply is one that works for the situation and its purpose. It is one thing feeling uncomfortable if your clothes do not fit. When it comes to business, if a contract fails you, as it does not fit, then it can be an altogether more unpleasant feeling.
