About Geoff Alday

I help teams figure out what a product should be, then design and build the systems that bring it to life, working at the intersection of design, engineering, and product thinking.Today I work as a principal product designer. I build prototypes and technical experiments to clarify product direction, uncover constraints early, and help teams move faster. These explorations often evolve into production features and accelerate engineering work. They are also used to communicate and validate product vision in sales and partnership conversations, helping turn prospects into clients and supporting enterprise expansions.Over the past several years I’ve been the founding and sole product designer for an international-scale healthcare platform, helping structure systems that support millions of patient interactions across behavioral science programs, AI-driven messaging orchestration, and data-driven care initiatives. The platform operates within strict regulatory constraints (including HIPAA) and serves organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, including payers, providers, life sciences companies, and retail pharmacies.Much of my work involves- Designing complex workflows and data-heavy platforms- Architecting product and system foundations- Prototyping and technical exploration to clarify product strategy- Aligning executives, product, and engineering around key product decisionsOutside of work I’m a Nashville native living just outside the city with my family. I play guitar and mandolin (with enthusiasm, if not precision) and occasionally build small video games.At my core, I’m a maker. I like figuring things out and turning ideas into reality.
