About Geoff Uhlemann
I enjoy my role a thought leader in flood risk assessment and an innovation director for integrating AI/ML solutions with civil engineering. I divide my time across three primary categories:(1) strategic directives for large client programs,(2) organizational leadership and key pursuits, and (3) technology initiatives.I lead a data science team of scientific programmers and engineers that support all disciplines across Michael Baker with analytics, automation, big data, tool development, and data-driven processes. I enjoy ideation, vision casting, strategic planning, market application, technical advisement, staff leadership, and project management. In every role, I practice open communication, transparent management, and fostering self-directed teamwork and growth. I value the trust of my clients and stive to launch their initiatives in a manner that minimizes their workload. I aim to decisively navigate a path forward through uncertain and fluid circumstances.Outside of work, I am blessed with 6 daughters, a wife of 20 years, and I love climbing, camping, canyons, church, and Christ (and force myself to do distance running).
