In January 2019, I have partially retired from Vantage Technology Consulting Group. I still maintain a subject matter expert role with Vantage and recommend them heartily. I am thrilled to watch the way the firm has transformed itself to meet the changing requirements for our broad range of clients.Vantage provides system design and strategic technology consulting that links strategy, systems and infrastructure. From the very strategic to the highly tactical, our objective as an independent consulting firm is to assist our clients in making the best possible technology decisions. We work with IT departments to develop their technology and communications infrastructure, address governance needs, and mitigate information security risks. We collaborate with end users to envision new workflows based on emerging technologies. We partner with architects and facilities managers to integrate advanced IT, telecom, audiovisual, security, healthcare and educational technologies into new facilities and major renovations. i have been in the communications industry for over 50 years, and an independent consultant specializing in higher education and health care since 1980. I am pleased to be recognized as one of the foremost consultants in the higher education marketplace specializing in technology planning, cost analysis, business continuity planning, and the convergence of voice, data and video technologies in support of administrative functions, technology in the classroom, and student services. I love to lecture for industry seminars and association gatherings and have published numerous articles in telecommunications industry magazines and journals.
