   Welding, metallurgical, and pipeline construction consulting engineer to Shell Pipeline for growth and maintenance projects. Develop quality assurance (QA) requirements for materials, welding, and NDT pipeline construction activities. Perform QA audits to ensure compliance with project specific requirements, industry requirements, and regulatory requirements. Support the purchase and technical specification of materials such as: API 5L line pipe, high yield forgings (WNF, MAF, SAF, piggable Y), induction bends, pipeline valves, subsea isolation valves, other material review, etc. Provide support for welding pipeline and facilities: new construction (onshore and offshore pipelines, skid packages, risers) and in-service (Stopples, hot taps, sleeves), qualification of welding procedures (mechanized GMAW, SMAW, SAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW). Assist with development of bid packages, evaluation of bids, constructability analysis, induction bends, HDD, field (cold) bending, NDT/NDE of welds, and qualification of welders. Active participant and subcommittee co-chair of API 1104 standards committee.
