About Geoff Krummel

I\'ve spent most of my professional career participating in the omics revolution. Before moving into industry, I helped develop sequencing instrumentation for the Human Genome Project as a graduate student. Following that, I worked as an application scientist and as a sales consultant where I helped labs bring tools online for genomics and proteomics. More recently, I developed and managed teams of sales professionals selling into the genomics space where we supported Pharmaceutical, Government, Biotech, and Academic customers. During the course of may career, my teams and I have brought in business totaling over $1 billion. In addition to my career in the omics space, I have a number of personal interests. I manage real estate investments in the Raleigh, NC area where I have had several successful ventures over the past ~15 years. I also enjoy woodworking, model making, and painting, and also have been learning to be a beekeeper over the past 3 or 4 years. Specialties: Building and leading great sales teams, DNA Sequencing, Microarrays, SNP genotyping, genomics, gene expression, pharmaceutical account management, key account management.
