ABOUT GEOFF GRIGGS

I’m a Product Security Graduate working at the intersection of engineering, cybersecurity, and mission assurance — ensuring that complex defence systems are designed, developed, and operated securely from concept to deployment. My role involves supporting secure-by-design practices across the product lifecycle, including security risk assessments, threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, and compliance with frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001, and DEF STAN 05-139. I’m passionate about embedding security early in the engineering process and helping multidisciplinary teams deliver resilient, assured capabilities.Alongside my role, I’m completing a masters in Cyber Security, deepening my expertise in areas such as secure architectures, cryptographic systems, and incident response. This academic work complements my hands-on experience within the Product Safety team, where I focused on the safety and assurance of programmable elements — a perspective that continues to shape how I approach system security and reliability.I’m motivated by technical challenges, collaboration, and the responsibility that comes with protecting critical systems and the people who depend on them.
